It’s my fault
February 2, 2006 – 4:29 pmMango pointed out to us that there was an error somewhere in the tallies of the “Most Humorous Blog” category. Upon re-adding the numbers, I discovered that he was right, so I must apologize to everyone for my mistake.
The amended winners in the Most Humorous Blog category are as follows:
First Place: Dead Guy, The Cartoon
Second Place: Anonymous Co-Worker
Third Place: Blogography
Fat Guy (and everyone else), I am very sorry for the miscalculation! I’m double-checking the other results now to make sure I didn’t make a similar mistake in any other categories.

Your whole “Awards” has been a fiasco anyway. Why bother?

You should talk Annie.
You and your gaggle of whiny whores can go to hell.

Man, talk about bitter nasty internet women. Ah well, one look at the template should have clued me in.
Annie, get over yourself and your gaggle.

Oh Annie, Annie, you pathetic bottom- feeding loser. Why are you so hateful? Oh, now I remember. It’s just your personality. You’re a bitch.

Woo, Mamacita rocks!
Well said!

How many times can you apologize?
This whole contest is a joke.
By Dave on Feb 2, 2006
Brave ‘Dave,’ who comments but leaves no contact information. Wow, that takes courage.
By Mamacita on Feb 2, 2006
Unlike Dave, I accept your apology Jim, and I respect the spirit in which it was given.
Enough said.

For what it’s worth, Raehan, that was me, not Jim. =)

It takes courage to stand up and say ‘we got it wrong..’ Rather than just leaving the wrong result to stand..
Thank you for that courage…

It sure takes a lot of courage to have a “contest” where there are at least a dozen mistakes and people are just supposed to accept it and appreciate them because they’ve done so much “work.” That’s pretty ridiculous.

I never comment. But my god people. These folks volunteer time and effort. If you don’t like it, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Jim & company, thanks for all your work and all the fun. You handle yourselves like champs.

I second Kel, I don’t agree with the choices for winners but the judges worked there asses off. People relax, chill and get the hell over it.

Dave, what you mentioned has nothing to do with either having OR lacking courage.
Do you even know what that word means?
By Mangopod on Feb 3, 2006
Okay Shylah. Got it. I accept your apology. : )
By Raehan on Feb 3, 2006
Good thing this isn’t about money.

Dave,
It sure takes a lot of courage to put forward your views in an anonymous comment…
Have you any idea what courage IS??

Maybe Dave doesn’t have a blog, but then why is he commenting here then?
I lost but I’m not upset, because I was a finalist! Was you one of the finalists, Dave? Is that’s why you’re upset?
Dave, it’s gona be ok. Maybe you should go to this internet rehabilitation center that I went to last weekend. They will give you a soft room, make you wear a monkey suit, and put you in a room with a man that eats pencils and erasers that he brought from McDonalds diet menu.
Jim, you and your volunteers did a great job, and I hope you hold the awards again!
